THE OPPORTUNITY
As Technical Director – AI Agents, you will be the chief technical architect and hands-on leader for our flagship AI enterprise agent orchestration platform. This is a 70% hands-on, 30% leadership role where you will directly shape the technical direction of our AI agent capabilities while building and mentoring a high-performing team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Architecture & Development (70%)
- Own end-to-end technical architecture of our Flagship product including agent registry, orchestration layer, and lifecycle management
- Design and build the platform foundation: unified engagement layer, REST/GraphQL APIs, security framework, and observability
- Lead development of various agents suite
- Make critical technology decisions: LLM providers, agent frameworks, vector databases, orchestration patterns
- Write production-grade code, conduct code reviews, and establish engineering best practices
- Architect multi-agent systems with proper state management, tool integration, and error handling
Leadership & Team Building (30%)
- Build and mentor a team of AI architects and agent engineers
- Present Flagship AI Platform & Agents capabilities and technical roadmap to potential clients during pre-sales and discovery calls
- Participate in client engagements to provide technical credibility, answer architecture questions, and build trust with CXOs and IT leadership
- Establish technical roadmaps
- Collaborate with AI Evangelists to ensure solutions are client-ready and demonstrable
- Partner with AIML CoE Director on delivery excellence
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must Have
- Deep expertise in LLM application development (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini)
- Hands-on experience building multi-agent systems and orchestration patterns
- Strong proficiency in Python, with production experience in agent frameworks (LangChain/LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or custom)
- Expertise in RAG architectures, vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB), and embedding strategies
- Cloud platform expertise in Azure and/or GCP (Vertex AI, Azure OpenAI Service)
- Experience with API design, microservices architecture, and event-driven systems
Nice to Have
- Experience with DataOps/MLOps pipelines and data quality frameworks
- Background in FMCG, CPG, or Retail industry solutions
- Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns (SAP, Salesforce, etc.)
